Reference News Network reported on March 2. "Nihon Keizai Shimbun" published an observation report on March 1, entitled "Cooking Robots Become Popular in China through the Winter Olympics". The Chinese-made cooking robot appeared at the Beijing Winter Olympics to catch a ride, and the Japanese Chinese cuisine chain restaurant "Osaka King" plans to introduce it. The full text is excerpted as follows:

In China, cooking robots have entered a period of popularity. Shanghai Love Food Robot (Group) Co., Ltd. has also taken a ride because of its products at the Beijing Winter Olympics, and has decided to supply the Japanese Chinese cuisine chain restaurant "Osaka King". With the increasing trend of low birth rate and aging population, and the continuous shortage of manpower (in the service industry), under this background, the market size of China's smart cooking machine is expected to reach 150 million yuan in 2023. Now that mobile payment has become mainstream in China, the advent of "unmanned restaurants" will not be far away.

Keiji Hirota, head of the Shanghai branch of "Osaka King General", said the cooking robot they ordered could "replicate the skills of professional chefs". At the end of 2021, the company's second chain store in Shanghai introduced the cooking robot from Aishan, which is mainly responsible for cooking three dishes: stir-fried green vegetables, stir-fried beef liver with chives and mushu meat. The chef can concentrate on the production of other meals such as dumplings and ramen, and the work efficiency is greatly improved. According to Mr. Hirota, new stores in the future also plan to introduce cooking robots.
