Geek+, the global leader in AMR, and Decathlon, the world's leading sporting goods retail group, jointly announced that hundreds of AMR robots will be deployed in Decathlon's three major European order distribution centers to realize the transformation and upgrading of e-commerce smart logistics. This not only opens a new chapter in the cooperation between Decathlon and GeekWire in Europe, but also is another important milestone for the two parties to replicate their successful experience from China to the world.
The three distribution centers to be modernized are located in Castelnau, France, Łódź, Poland, and Campania, Italy. Jizhijia provides Decathlon with high flexibility with advanced AMR robots and AI technology, enabling Decathlon to increase storage capacity, simplify logistics processes, and better serve the growing online consumers in these regions.
Geek+ and Decathlon, as long-term partners, have cooperated in Asia since 2018 and have achieved outstanding results. This time, the two parties have joined forces again, and it took six months to complete the smart logistics upgrade of warehouses in many European countries.
