According to reports, in the Shanghai Robot Industrial Park located in Baoshan District, FANUC's super smart factory has begun to take shape, the system workshop in the production and logistics area has basically been completed, each building unit has gradually entered the final stage, and industrial equipment has gradually entered the site for installation...It is expected It will be completed and put into production within this year.
It is understood that the Phase III project of FANUC Smart Factory is a major construction project in Shanghai in 2020. It will be the largest robot base of FANUC Group in the world after Japan. After completion, the annual output value is expected to reach 10 billion yuan. The project is divided into two phases of construction. The first phase of the project is currently being implemented, with an investment of 1.58 billion yuan. The completion acceptance will be completed in July this year, and it will be put into production in October.
FANUC smart factory not only has the function of advanced manufacturing, it can provide the world's leading smart manufacturing solutions for downstream application enterprises, but also has the functions of employee education and training, display of advanced smart manufacturing equipment, sales, etc. It is a research and development, manufacturing, The high-end intelligent factory with sales integration will drive the development of industrial robots in Shanghai to a new level and accelerate the development of China's advanced manufacturing industry.
And just in December last year, ABB's robot super factory in Shanghai was officially opened. The annual production capacity can reach up to 100,000 units.
Previously, ABB stated that in the future, more than 90% of the products sold by the company in China will be produced in super factories, which will obviously greatly improve ABB's ability to supply industrial robots in China and further strengthen its leading position in the field of robotics and automation in China. The Naco robot base will also be put into production soon. The two major factories have made up for the shortage of production capacity, which is bound to squeeze the market space of domestic industrial robots in the future.
