In the wake of COVID-19, the global robotics industry has ushered in new development opportunities, with major companies around the world accelerating the development of commercial robots. Taking the stage at the tech giant's ARTIFICIAL intelligence conference, CEO Elon Musk said the company is speeding up development of a humanoid robot; And in mid-August, Baidu unveiled a car robot to aid the company's Apollo self-driving project. According to the data, the global robot market will be worth $25 billion in 2020;That figure is expected to expand tenfold to $260 billion by 2030.
At present, domestic industrial robots with cost-effective, channel and other advantages, has occupied most of the domestic market in many segments, but there is a certain gap with the international advanced level in key technologies, materials, components and other aspects. In newly installed robots, 71% of the parts are from foreign countries, and the localization rate is less than 30%. Among them, in the three most important upstream parts reducer, servo motor and controller, the localization rate is about 30%, 22% and 35%, respectively. There is a huge space for domestic substitution, and the leading industry chain is expected to benefit.
